Learn to recognize, reject and report scams
Beware of e-mails, phone calls, and text messages that appear official. Scotiabank will never ask you:
- To Access your device remotely or to install software to enable remote access.
- To download an app or third-party software through a phone call, e-mail, text message, or enclosed link.
- To disclose your PIN, password, one-time verification code, or bank card numbers.
- For your ScotiaConnect User Name and Password. Do not click on links within these e-mails.
